OVERSEAS ABSENTEE VOTING (OAV) IDs

In response to all queries regarding the release of OAV IDs, please be informed that the printing of Voters ID was suspended by the Commission on Elections (COMELEC).  The COMELEC has given the assurance, however, that the lack of Voters IDs should not be a hindrance to the right of suffrage.  It is also not mandatory for an overseas absentee voter to present his/her voter's ID before voting at the Post.  What matters is that the voter is registered or his/her name appears in the certified list of overseas absentee voters (CLOAV).

Please note that the stoppage of printing is only temporary and shall resume upon further orders of the Commission.
